Energy Flow Solutions — Service Engagement Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Energy Flow Solutions to perform any service — including quotes, inspections, installations, or repairs — you agree to these terms. These terms supplement, and are read alongside, any specific quote or work order you sign.

2. Licensing and Insurance

Energy Flow Solutions holds current NSW electrical licensing and, where applicable, Clean Energy Council solar accreditation. We carry public liability insurance. Copies of our licences and certificate of currency are available on request before any work begins.

3. Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, subject to site conditions being as represented. Variations discovered on site (hidden wiring, structural issues, switchboard condition) will be discussed with you before any additional work proceeds.

4. Deposit and Payment

For installations, a deposit (typically 20%) is payable on acceptance of the quote, with the balance due on completion. Smaller service calls are invoiced on completion. Payment terms are 7 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and credit card (surcharge applies).

5. Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work site on the scheduled day and to identify any hazards or restrictions (pets, children, shared walls, asbestos materials). Where access cannot be provided, reasonable waiting time may be billed.

6. Site Conditions and Safety

All work complies with AS/NZS 3000 (Australian Wiring Rules) and applicable solar installation standards. We will de-energise circuits before working on them. For your safety, do not attempt repairs to our installed work.

7. Workmanship Warranty

Energy Flow Solutions warrants our workmanship against defects for 12 months from completion for service work, and longer periods for solar installations as specified in the quote. Manufacturer warranties on supplied equipment apply in addition.

8. Solar — Performance

Solar output varies with weather, seasonal sun angle, shading, and inverter condition. We will provide an estimated annual generation range based on your site. This estimate is not a performance guarantee; actual output can be verified via the inverter's monitoring portal.

9. STCs and Rebates

Where a system is eligible for federal Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) or state rebates, we process the rebate on your behalf at point of sale and the discount is reflected in your quote. You authorise us to create STCs for your system.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel up to 48 hours before the scheduled start with any deposit refunded in full. Cancellation within 48 hours may incur a reasonable callout fee to cover scheduling and mobilisation. Emergency work cancellations are assessed case-by-case.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for the relevant work. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any concern about our work should be raised with us first, in writing, so we can inspect and address the issue. Where resolution can't be reached, disputes may be referred to the NSW electrical or fair trading authorities.
