Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?
In most cases yes. We check your existing inverter's battery-ready status, switchboard capacity and roof structure, then recommend the best retrofit path. AC-coupled batteries like Tesla Powerwall work with almost any inverter brand. Call us with your inverter model and we can give you a quick yes/no.
Will a battery keep my power on during a blackout?
Yes, if it's configured for backup mode. Not all batteries default to this — we set up your system with backup circuits so critical loads (fridge, lights, phone charging, select power points) keep running through a grid outage. Whole-home backup is possible with larger capacity systems.
